Tips for BHP Students with:

Students who have Business majors and who also are completing BHP (and particularly those who are trying to complete both Business Honors and Baccalaureate Honors) should watch .

For more information, students can and should contact the BHP director AND the Business Honors director for tips and strategies on how to complete both sets of honors requirements. Note: There are just 3 additional courses required to complete BHP on top of what Business Honors already requires. At least one of those could be done as an honors contract.

BHP students who have Fine Arts majors should watch .

For more information, students can and should contact the BHP director for tips and strategies on how to complete the honors requirements alongside a fine arts major.

BHP students who have Science majors should watch .

Note: Science majors may begin capstone projects (e.g., XXX490) in their junior year but should not start them any later than fall of their senior year. Sooner is always better in terms of planning this project! For most students, planning to do most of the work for the capstone in the fall of senior year is better because it allows for a cushion in case the project is not completed in the course of one semester. For more information about planning and setting up your capstone project, visit the BHP Thesis planning page.

For more information, students can and should contact the BHP director for tips and strategies on how to complete the honors requirements alongside a science major.

Students who have Education majors and who also are completing BHP should watch .

For more information about planning ahead, students can and should contact the BHP director for tips and strategies on how to complete the honors requirements alongside an education major.

If Education majors wish to use student teaching as their BHP capstone, they should work with the BHP director and the edTPA supervisor to be clear on the criteria for making EDU 465 count as their BHP capstone. First and foremost, they should use the criteria listed under "Part II: Proposing Your Project" on the BHP Thesis planning page.
